Dr. Valentina Cantori holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Southern California and has spent nearly a decade conducting ethnographic fieldwork across the United States and the SWANA region, publishing in the field's leading peer-reviewed journals and winning competitive grants along the way. Then came a documentary — built from her own research — and with it, a realization: that the gap between rigorous social science and compelling storytelling wasn't inevitable. It was a design problem. One worth solving.
